ABOUT MATERIALISE

Materialise is a Hong Kong based performing arts production company founded in 2018 with the objective to contribute to Asia’s visual and performing arts scenes by providing agency, consulting and production services to regional artists and presenters and by facilitating international cultural exchanges between Europe and Asia.

Under the artistic and executive direction of Stéphane Noël, a former advisor and long time member of IETM, Materialise has sought to foster exchanges between Asia in Europe, particularly by supporting the development and production of Asian artist, but also through international platforms for national cultural institutions such as Pro Helvetia (CH), The Saison Foundation (JP), Korea Arts Management Service (KR), National Arts Council (SG), and the National Culture and Arts Foundation (TW).

Materialise currently produces or globally distributes the work of Claire Dessimoz (CH), Fang Yun Lo (TW/DE), Royce Ng (HK), Gu Jiani (CN), Xiao Ke & Zi Han (CN), Pichet Klunchun (TH), Kornkarn Rungsawang (TH), Ayaka Nakama (JP), Yudai Kamisato (JP) and orangcosong (JP). 

Materialise also collaborates with Andrea Salustri (IT), Lisbeth Gruwez & Maarten Van Cauwenberghe (BE), and Patrick Blenkarn & Milton Lim (CA).
